DHT attacks hair follicles until they become thin and eventually fall-out.
Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is an androgen that develops when the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme forms with free testosterone.
Most people lose between 50 and 100 hairs each day. This is normal. However, you should address your hair loss immediately when it starts receding at the hair line or from the crown of your head. This indicates that the process is underway and your follicles are shrinking.
When the ‘peach fuzz’ has disappeared, the follicles are dead. This is very difficult to reverse.
